A firm route, a clear entry and room to turn.
Place the unit on a firm, stable, level surface connected to the event’s accessible circulation route. Loose gravel, deep grass and a raised curb can interrupt access even when the restroom itself is an ADA model. Keep cables, hose runs and queue barriers out of the path.
The U.S. Access Board explains that where portable single-user toilet units are grouped, at least 5% in each cluster must be accessible. A cluster of 20 therefore needs at least one; a cluster of 21 needs at least two. We can help translate your site plan into a practical equipment layout.

At a Bellflower park or public event, identify each restroom cluster on the site map before fencing and vendor spaces are assigned. Include accessible handwashing, lighting and space outside the door. The Access Board identifies an exception for portable toilets used exclusively by construction personnel.
