A sink beside the restroom makes the setup complete.
Portable sinks provide a separate place to wash hands without waiting for an occupied restroom. Foot-operated pumps let users start the water without touching a faucet. Freshwater and wastewater tanks keep the station self-contained.
We supply stations with soap and paper towels and plan refills with the rental. Tell us if food vendors, multiple work shifts or a large guest count will be using them so the quantity and service schedule reflect that demand.

Construction handwashing in California
California’s construction washing rule calls for at least one washing station per 20 employees or fraction thereof. Stations need water, soap and a hygienic drying method. A station serves 20 workers; a crew of 21 requires two under that baseline rule. Where toilets do not use water carriage, washing facilities must be outside and not attached to the toilet facility; the rule includes an exception for fewer than five employees with one toilet facility.
California Title 8, section 1527: washing facilities ↗Food vendors need a separate handwashing plan.
Guest restroom sinks and food-booth washing facilities have different jobs. Los Angeles County’s community-event requirements address food-booth sanitation and the organizer’s restroom arrangements. A guest sink does not automatically satisfy a food operator’s handwashing requirements. Tell us whether the station serves guests, workers or food handlers so the equipment is matched to its use.
Los Angeles County Public Health: community events ↗Place it on the route people already take.
- Keep the station close to the restrooms and easy to spot.
- Leave a clear walking path and an accessible washing option where needed.
- Keep food preparation and handwashing arrangements coordinated with the event’s food requirements.
- Arrange more frequent refills for heavy use or multi-day events.
For work crews, coordinate sink placement with the construction sanitation plan. For larger Bellflower gatherings, distribute sinks beside the event restroom clusters.
